2015 Ford Expedition

In February, Ford introduced the updated 2015 Ford Expedition.  The 2015 Expedition has a restyled interior and exterior, and comes with a new power plant.

For the first time, the Ford Expedition replaces its V8 power plant and will powered by a 3.5L V6 EcoBoost engine.  Do not worry, this V6 has 365 horsepower with 420 ft-lbs of torque versus the 310 horses and 365 ft-lbs for the previous 5.4L V8 engine.  This is the same engine that Ford has been using in its popular F150 pickup trucks since 2011, and should be an excellent addition to the 2015 Ford Expedition.

Cosmetically, the 2015 Ford Expedition's exterior does not look radically different than the previous version.  On the front, it comes with new headlamps, a new grille, new bumper, and LED fog lamps.  On the rear, it comes with a redesigned liftgate and tailpipes.  It also comes with new wheel styling.  The interior of the 2015 Ford Expedition features a new instrument cluster, center console, and steering wheel.

Additional features on the 2015 Ford Expedition include the Continuously Controlled Damping suspension (CCD), and Hill Start Assist/Hill Descent Control.

The 2015 Ford Expedition will be available at O'Meara Ford in the second half of 2014.
