Custom MyFord Touch Background

Personalize your MyFord Touch with a custom background

Everyone loves to have their own personal touch on the things they own. Car's and Truck's are high on the list of customization. If you have a Ford with the MyFord Touch system you can set a background picture to the system and put your own personal stamp on your ride! The steps are pretty simple.

Uploading Pictures

1. Take a blank USB drive and load the photos you wish to display in your vehicle.
2. Insert USB device into the USB port and select “Menu” on the screen.
3. Select “Display” and “Edit Wallpaper”
4. Click “Add” and select what files you wish to upload on you vehicle.
5. Once uploaded select the picture you want and press “Save” and it will be set as your background.

Some helpful tips the MyFord Touch system will allow you to upload several types of files like .jpg, .gif, .png, and .bmp. The system will limit the size of picture you up load to 1.5MB and can hold up to 32 pictures. The optimum size for the uploaded photos will be 800x384.

The files you upload need not be pictures you just snap from your cell or digital camera, if you are the artistic type you can make your own as well!
